Emilia Baldwin
Consultant
Emilia Baldwin joined CBC in 2021 as an application and essay consultant. A storyteller at heart, Emilia hopes to bring her sharpened skillset as a writer and television producer to her students’ application process.
While Emilia grew up in New York City, she considers herself half Spanish, half Midwestern, as her mother hails from Madrid and her father grew up in the Chicago area. She discovered her love of the humanities in high school, where she took a special liking to language study and the Classics. She deepened this passion during her time at Dartmouth College, where she majored in French Literature and History. After graduating, Emilia moved back to her native city and began working in documentary production at ABC News.
In her free time, Emilia enjoys exploring the NYC culinary scene, reading thrillers, going to museums, and long walks in Prospect Park.
A native New Yorker, Emilia has a deep appreciation for different cultures and languages. In addition to English, she speaks Spanish and French, and hopes to learn a fourth language this year.
